Founded in 1799 Greene King is now the country's leading brewer producing quality, UK renowned beers such as Greene King IPA and Old Speckled Hen. Greene King brewery is based in Bury St Edmunds, just over the border in Suffolk
The Norfolk Brewhouse is owned and run by Rachel and David Holliday – a couple with a passion for crafting distinctive, high-quality beers.
Their brewery has breathed new life into a redundant old barn, on an arable farm, in north-Norfolk. Its rural setting – right in the heart of the country’s finest malting barley region – is just the start.
Rachel and David make the most of all that is around them; chalk-filtered water from the brewery’s own well and Norfolk’s finest malting barley. Incidentally, they feed the brewing grains to some very grateful cows.
Even the names of Norfolk Brewhouse beers – Moon Gazer Ale and StubbleStag premium lager – were inspired by the Norfolk wildlife, reflecting as they do the stunning sight of wild hares transfixed by the moon.
Hidden away in the heart of Norfolk and raised in Nelson’s county, Woodforde's has called Woodbastwick their home since 1981, and their passion has brought incredible success with two Supreme Champion Beer of Britain awards under the Admiral’s hat.
